The Challenge
Beginning as early as the 1990’s, continuous calls to the safety industry for innovative improvements to respiratory equipment enabling better safety measures for the healthcare community, to be able to dispense during an infectious outbreak or global pandemic.
In 2006, Institute of Medicine conducts an investigation and finds that there is no practical way to clean disposable medical masks and N95 respirators for safe reuse during an influenza pandemic. The IOM goes on to articulate 28 recommendations for better respiratory personal protective equipment.
As of 2021 there is no affordable, disposable, comfortable, source-control, effective respiratory equipment for the healthcare communities serving the infectious patients, nor high-risk individuals, nor the regular citizens who must choose work over a comfortable way to stay safe while also bringing home the disease to family members who may not survive, all due to the lack of innovation in comfortable, affordable, safety equipment.

How does DRAFT™ have a world- and life-changing intellectual property to solve comfort, source control, affordable and scalable due to utilizing the same manufacturing techniques currently in place by all safety manufactures?
The Answer
We developed it ourselves — after experiencing personal discomfort using a respirator while working in construction, our chief engineer innovated a solution that can be produced and sold at an affordable rate. Low costs mean low profits, so the leaders in the mass safety market aren’t interested. We believe safety shouldn’t come at a high price NOW MORE THAN EVER.
